- Is there a desktop user manual?

- How many webcams does iNowCU support?
iNowCU supports up to 4 USB webcams. If you require support for more than 4 webcams
then please contact us directly.
- What do I need to enter on the desktop registration screen?
When you first run iNowCU on your PC you need to create yourself a user account.
Select any name and password of your choice that are longer than 4 characters in
length. If the user name has already been taken, try another name or use your email
address as this is
unique.
- What type of mobile phone do I need?
iNowCU will run on most modern mobile phones, including Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericsson,
iPhone and Windows Mobile handsets.
- Can I access my web cams and alerts from another deskop PC?

- How do I install the mobile version of iNowCU?
Visit www.iNowCU.com from your mobile - for more help please use the "how
to install" videos links on the right.
- What do I need to enter on the mobile login screen?
Login using the same user name and password you used to create your iNowCU
account on the desktop application.
- How do I run the mobile application in the background?
On Windows Mobile Pocket PC phones, tap the X in the top right corner, for smartphones,
use the phones' back key. On Nokia S60 devices, use the switch application key.
- Can I adjust my webcam settings from my mobile?
Yes.
- Can I view my webcams from my mobile?
Yes, select Cameras, then the webcam you want to connect to.
- When I get an alert is any video footage available?
Yes, select "Movie clip" from the mobile alert screen.
- Does the desktop application store alerts so I can view them when I get
home?
Yes, the iNowCU desktop application stores both image alerts and a video clip from approximately 5 seconds before the alert triggered and for 15 seconds after the alert.
- Can I also receive alerts via Email?
Yes, both image and movie clip alerts.
Use the desktop Edit | Settings option to enable these.
- What does "Unable to connect to broadcaster" mean?
This means a connection cannot be made to the desktop application and is sometimes caused if the Internet connection from your PC got dropped. The desktop application will recover as soon as a connection becomes available.
Also check your power saving settings on your PC to make sure that the PC never goes into hibernation.
- What information about me do you store on your servers?
The only information we retain about you is your user name and password, which are stored in an encrypted database in a secure data center. When you purchase a
product key we also store the purchase information sent to us by PayPal in the encrypted
database.
- Do you store my alerts on your server?
No, all data requested from either your mobile or via web access is routed directly
to and from the iNowCU desktop application. All data transfered is also encyrpted.
